Considering a new canine family member? Adopt! The most wonderful dogs are rescue dogs. I can speak to this personally as I adopted from Almost Home and now have the most wonderful dog ever.

Almost Home Rescue is an all-breed canine rescue group. This 501c3 non-profit organization is dedicated to saving lives and finding forever homes for stray, abandoned and surrendered dogs in high kill shelters. They are a small, volunteer run organization. All the dogs listed are either still waiting in Arkansas Shelters, or in New England Foster Homes waiting to be adopted. Almost Home does not have a physical shelter as they are strictly a Dog Rescue organization. All dogs arrive with a current Health Certificate, are up to date with vaccinations and are transported on an U.S.D.A. approved transport.
